1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies (e.g. localStorage), which store data directly in the browser, are also used alongside them. In this policy, we refer to them collectively as “cookies”.

The first two items are essential. otto_suhlas remembers precisely whether you allowed measurement, so it is stored regardless of your choice; without the session you could not sign in to the admin panel. We process them on the basis of our legitimate interest in the website working.
We store the analytics cookies _ga and _ga_VNKHKSV1E5 (Google Analytics 4) only with your consent. Until you give consent, the measurement script is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are created. If you refuse or withdraw consent, we delete these cookies.
Our own audience measurement (otto_web_id, otto_web_rel) also runs only with your consent. We record which pages you viewed, which elements you clicked (for example the pilot request, a meeting or an e-mail link), how long you stayed, how far you scrolled and where you came from. We do not store your IP address or browser details. We keep the data for 13 months from your last visit. If you refuse or withdraw consent, we delete the identifier together with all data linked to it.
3. Data stored by the chat window (Widget) on clients' websites
The Otto chat window, which is embedded on our client's website, stores in the visitor's browser the essential technical data needed for the chat to work, in particular:
- a conversation identifier (so that the conversation continues when the page is reloaded),
- basic settings (e.g. muted sound, welcome message status).
These data are essential to provide the chat service. The website operator (our client) is responsible for informing its visitors and for obtaining any consents on its website.
4. How to manage cookies and withdraw consent
You can withdraw your consent to audience measurement at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (Article 7(3) GDPR) and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. After withdrawal, we delete the analytics cookies and the measurement script stops loading.
You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may limit how the website or chat works.
5. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always published at ottoai.sk.
